The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Akon Higuchi, Ph.D., Chair Professor, Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, National Central University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Higuchi was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for contributions to the design and preparation of biomaterials and membranes for purification, culture, and differentiation of stem cells.
